The Paiporta City Council has intensified preventive tasks on the municipality's drains to ensure effective drainage in response to a yellow alert for torrential rains.

With the aim of minimizing risks from potential heavy rainfall, the Espai maintenance service is carrying out specific work on water collection points. These actions complement the regular tasks performed by Global Omnium on the sewage network and the general improvement and renovation works of the municipality's sanitation and drainage system.
During Thursday morning, a Cecopal meeting was held to monitor the yellow alert. Priorities for action were established, and coordination between the involved services was strengthened, including the Local Police, the Civil Guard, and Civil Protection, along with Espai personnel. The objective is to maintain surveillance and be able to intervene in case of any incidents, prioritizing areas that may require special attention.
The City Council reminds citizens of the importance of prevention during intense rainfall episodes. The preventive device will remain active while the yellow alert is in effect, aiming to ensure public safety and minimize potential risks.
