Fire in Manises: Air and ground resources battle flames in Salt de l'Aigua ravine

Air and ground resources have been working since early afternoon to extinguish a fire declared in the Salt de l'Aigua ravine, in Manises, Horta Sud.

The Emergency Coordination Center and the Firefighters Consortium have reported that a fire is affecting the area of the Salt de l'Aigua ravine in Manises. Extinguishing efforts were intensified early in the afternoon.
At 2:30 PM, four aerial units, two fire engines, three teams, and four forest brigades from the Valencia Firefighters Consortium were already working at the scene of the fire. Additionally, two environmental agents from the Generalitat and a fire prevention unit were dispatched to reinforce the operations.
Images shared on social media show the column of smoke generated by the flames, visible from nearby towns such as Quart de Poblet.
