The Benetússer City Council, in collaboration with the Diputación de València, has once again launched addiction prevention activities aimed at adolescents in their second year of ESO.

The activities, organized by the Social Welfare and Education Departments, are this year aimed at 9 groups of adolescents in their second year of ESO from the educational centers IES María Carbonell and the Nuestra Señora del Socorro school.
The workshop, titled “What do we do on the weekend: Alcohol?”, consists of 2 sessions. Its objective is to introduce young people to the effects of alcohol abuse and promote healthy alternatives.
To carry out this action, the city council has received a subsidy from the Diputación de València of €1,040. This aid is part of the call for subsidies to inter-municipal associations and city councils of municipalities in the province of Valencia with a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, intended for carrying out addiction prevention activities in the year 2026.
