Given the orange alert for rain and yellow alert for storms declared by Aemet and the Generalitat Valenciana's Emergency Coordination Center, Alaquàs City Council has taken preventive measures for Monday, October 19th.

Likewise, all sports activities, both outdoors and indoors, including municipal sports programming courses, will be suspended until the same time. Several municipal facilities will also be closed and their activities suspended, including the Benàger Social Center, the Senior Day Center, Alaquàs Castle, the Library, the Cemetery, and Canine Recreation Areas (ZEC’s), among others.
The recommendation guide from the Emergency Department has been followed by CECOPAL, which has also decided to suspend activities and events scheduled on the municipal agenda until 3 PM tomorrow.
The public is urged to avoid unnecessary travel, both on foot and by vehicle, and to especially avoid parks, gardens, promenades, and canine recreation areas. It is also recommended to avoid crossing underpasses.
