The Rafelbunyol City Council has organized various cultural and educational activities to promote sexual diversity and respect for the LGTBI community, especially among young people.

The Casa de la Cultura in Rafelbunyol hosted last Sunday, October 4th, the performance of Croma, una història dibuixada. This children's theater play uses art and a playful approach to invite reflection on diversity, identity, and family bonds, accompanying the protagonist on his life journey alongside his father.
This initiative is part of the grants awarded by the Diputación de Valencia. These funds are allocated to municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants to support sexual diversity policies, with a particular focus on the LGTBI collective, corresponding to the 2026 fiscal year.
Awareness-raising actions have also taken place in the municipality's educational centers. Between May and October, the Lambda association conducted the workshop El quadern de Barett at CEIP Els Germanells and CEIP Verge del Miracle, also thanks to this same subsidy.
Through these activities, the Rafelbunyol council continues to promote awareness and education on sexual diversity from an early age. The aim is to use culture and education as fundamental tools to foster respect, coexistence, and equality among citizens.
The various initiatives developed throughout the year seek to bring these issues closer to both the educational and cultural spheres, creating learning and reflection spaces adapted to different ages and audiences.
