During the operation, a technical team was deployed, including four press trucks, a grapple truck for waste removal, and a truck for collecting bulky items. This initiative has expedited the collection of accumulated vegetable waste and improved the condition of public spaces in this residential area.
Additionally, the service removed 7,000 kilograms of bulky items over three days and maintained the regular cardboard collection, with interventions to address overflowing deposit points.
“"With this intensive campaign, we have reinforced pruning waste removal in La Canyada to meet the neighborhood's needs and improve the cleanliness of its streets."
Nuria Campos, Deputy Mayor for Urban Quality, highlighted that this operation complements the new municipal service for pruning collection by appointment in La Canyada, which allows for better organization of collections and keeps the neighborhood clean and well-maintained.
The City Council reminds residents that they can request pruning waste collection by calling 96 134 16 08, sending a WhatsApp message to 697 285 220, or emailing podapaterna@fcc.es. The council urges citizen collaboration in using this appointment-based service and following collection instructions to contribute to the maintenance and cleanliness of La Canyada.
