Sports clubs and entities in the municipality can now apply for these grants, which aim to support the development of their activities during the 2025-2026 season.
The call for applications, approved by the Local Government Board on October 15, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia (BOP) number 211, on November 3, 2026, seeks to financially support the activities of local sports entities and promote sports practice, especially grassroots sports, participation in official competitions, equal opportunities, and the organization of sports activities and events.
The grants will be awarded through a competitive bidding process and will be used to cover expenses related to sports activities carried out between September 1, 2025, and August 31, 2026.
Clubs and sports entities that meet the requirements established in the regulatory bases, including having their headquarters and conducting their activities in Moncada, being registered in the relevant registries, and being up-to-date with their tax and Social Security obligations, are eligible to participate in the call.
The application submission period will be 15 business days from the publication of the call in the BOP of Valencia, which took place on November 3, 2026. Interested entities must submit their applications through the electronic headquarters of the Moncada City Council.
For the distribution of grants, aspects such as the number of athletes, participation of minors, women, and people with disabilities, competition scope, sports results, entity's seniority, and collaboration in municipal activities will be taken into account.
