The process, which began last week after being postponed due to heavy rainfall, has already completed the initial medical and swimming assessments. On Tuesday, October 27th, and Wednesday, October 28th, candidates will proceed with athletic physical tests held in El Puig, including a 60-meter sprint, a 1-kilometer endurance run, and medicine ball throws. Passing all three is mandatory to continue.
Those who pass this stage will be called for a psychometric test, followed by a knowledge test covering the 40 topics in the syllabus and a practical scenario to assess theoretical application. A Valencian language test is also included, which is not eliminatory. Final scores will be combined to create the definitive list.
The call will allow for the filling of a total of ten Local Police officer positions: four through open competition and two through mobility. A waiting list will be established with the remaining candidates who pass the tests for future interim agent needs.
The process will not conclude until all phases are completed, including training at the Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergencies (IVASPE). The City Council of La Pobla de Farnals wishes all participants the best of luck.
