These awards annually recognize an individual and an entity distinguished for their merits in cultural, professional, economic, civic, or social fields. Services rendered to the development and progress of the Valencian Community, the recovery of its culture, and the dissemination of the autochthonous values of the Valencian people in Tavernes Blanques are also valued.
The proclamation of the awardees will take place during the solemn ceremony on October 9th, where the distinction and the accreditation diploma will be presented. The Governing Board will be responsible for the adjudication, based on the proposal of a specific Jury.
This Jury will be composed of the Mayor or the delegated person, the councilor responsible for Culture, the municipal cultural manager, and two relevant personalities from the municipality, in addition to the Corporation's secretary, who will not have voting rights. The awards may be declared void if sufficient merits are not found.
The City Council encourages residents, associations, and collectives of Tavernes Blanques to submit their proposals before the deadline, thus contributing to the recognition of individuals and entities linked to the development and life of the municipality.
