Paterna City Council has installed a new reading point at the summer swimming pool located on the Manises road, a proposal that combines leisure and culture during the summer season.

This initiative is part of the municipal project Llibres Lliures, promoted since 2021 by the Libraries department. The service consists of a booth that allows users to exchange books spontaneously and for free.
The goal is for swimmers to take advantage of their rest time to immerse themselves in new stories, while giving a second life to books they have already read.
With this addition, the municipal pool, which is one of the most popular meeting points during the summer, reinforces Paterna's commitment to bringing culture into everyday spaces. The project already has several booths distributed throughout the municipality's neighborhoods.
