Metrovalencia has organized a special transport operation for the early morning of Sunday, July 19th to Monday, July 20th, coinciding with the World Cup Football final. The match, which will pit Spain against Argentina, can be followed live on the giant screen installed in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and at the Roig Arena.
Specifically, ten additional metro services have been scheduled to facilitate the mobility of the national team's supporters until approximately 1 AM. The match starts at 9 PM, but due to the possibility of extra time and penalties, the service could be extended until the definitive end of the game.
The planning by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) includes trains originating from Machado and Alboraia Peris Aragó heading to Avinguda del Cid; another from Avinguda del Cid to Rafelbunyol; two from València Sud to Paterna; one from Castelló to Seminari and another from València Sud to Seminari; one from Paterna to Torrent Avinguda; and a final one from Seminari to Torrent Avinguda.
Regarding the tram, it will be Line 10 that provides service to fans heading to the Roig Arena, as the Quatre Carreres stop is located near the pavilion.
It is planned that there will be trams on this line transporting fans between Alacant and Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències-Justícia, with a stop at Quatre Carreres, and also from Natzaret to Alacant, with the same stop, once the match concludes.
