The Díaz Pintado Socio-educational Center hosted the closing ceremony for the 'Acción Inserta ActualizaT Burjassot II' Program. A total of thirteen students successfully completed their training in Administration and Gardening. This project, promoted by the Burjassot City Council through CEMEF and in collaboration with LABORA-Valencian Employment and Training Service, aimed to improve the professional qualifications and job insertion possibilities for individuals facing difficulties in accessing the labor market.
The program ran in two phases, from February 2025 to August 2026, combining theoretical-practical training, work experience, and employment guidance. Students obtained professional certificates, expanding their skills. In Gardening, training covered auxiliary activities in nurseries and gardens, as well as garden and green space installation and maintenance. Meanwhile, Administration students were trained in auxiliary operations for administrative services and general affairs, progressing to administrative activities related to customer relations.
The practical component was crucial. The Gardening students participated in the improvement and conservation of municipal green spaces, including work at the Díaz Pintado Socio-educational Center, La Granja Park, 8th of March Park, and Vicente Ferrer Park. Administration students undertook internships in various departments of the Burjassot City Council, assisting with administrative tasks, citizen services, and document management. They also participated in local initiatives such as the Burjassot Commerce Voucher and the 15th Commerce and Gastronomy Fair.
The closing ceremony was attended by the mayor, Rafa García, and councilors Rosa Coca, Manuela Carrero, M.ª Ángeles Navarro, and Juan Gabriel Sánchez. The teaching team, the management of CEMEF, and professionals linked to the program were also present. The value of the training and the students' commitment were highlighted, with the students expressing gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their qualifications and for the support received throughout the program.
