Burjassot hosts new edition of free fibromyalgia course

Burjassot will host the 12th edition of the free fibromyalgia course, an initiative offering information and resources to affected individuals, family members, and caregivers.

The Casa de Cultura in Burjassot will be the venue for the twelfth edition of the free fibromyalgia course, an event aimed at providing practical information and useful resources for the daily lives of people living with this chronic illness.
This initiative, promoted by the Health Department of the Burjassot City Council in collaboration with the Very Illustrious Official College of Pharmacists of Valencia (MICOF) and Xarxa Pacients, will take place over three in-person sessions. These will be held on September 29 and October 6 and 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Participation in the course is completely free, although prior registration is required. Interested individuals must first register as users on the Xarxa Pacients platform and then sign up for the 12th edition of the course.
The course is open not only to individuals diagnosed with fibromyalgia but also to their family members, caregivers, and anyone interested in better understanding this condition that can significantly impact quality of life.
During the sessions, key aspects for the daily management of fibromyalgia will be addressed, including recommendations on nutrition, adapted physical exercise, psychosocial factors, treatment options, and general well-being guidelines.
