The IES Escultor Francesc Badia in Foios has undertaken an educational mobility program in Torre del Greco (Naples) within the Erasmus+ KA121 framework, where first-year Baccalaureate students have broadened their linguistic and cultural knowledge and experienced different educational realities.

First-year Baccalaureate students from IES Escultor Francesc Badia in Foios recently participated in an educational stay in Torre del Greco, in the Italian region of Naples, as part of the Erasmus+ KA121 program. This initiative allowed students to enhance their linguistic and cultural knowledge, as well as learn about other educational systems and strengthen collaboration with European schools.
During their stay, the young people lodged with Italian families and engaged in various academic and cultural activities organized by the host institution, Liceo Nobel of Torre del Greco. The program included practical workshops, such as bioplastic production, visits to historical sites like the archaeological site of Pompeii, and a tour of Naples' historic center. They also visited the University of Portici and attended an institutional reception.
Despite weather conditions that partially affected the mobility, the overall assessment of the experience has been highly positive. The exchange provided students with the opportunity to discover new learning methodologies, different customs, and establish personal connections with students from other countries, significantly contributing to their academic and personal development.
The collaboration between IES Escultor Francesc Badia and Liceo Nobel will continue with a visit from Italian students to Foios, scheduled from March 10th to 17th. This second phase of the exchange aims to consolidate the initiated relationships and further promote international educational cooperation, as well as foster values such as respect, coexistence, and European citizenship, in line with the Erasmus+ program's objectives.
