The Bonrepòs i Mirambell City Council has officially announced the start of the project "Bonrepòs i Mirambell: Local Strategy 2030 for Sustainable Urban Transformation", to be known under the corporate brand "EL2030 BM". The main objective of this initiative is to update the municipality's strategic planning instruments to ensure their alignment with the Spanish Urban Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda.
The project will focus on three main lines of action. Firstly, the review and update of the current Municipal Action Urban Plan (PUAM 2022) will be carried out. Secondly, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS 2021) will be reviewed, and a new Sustainable Mobility Plan will be drafted. Finally, technical-financial project sheets will be developed to strengthen the attraction of future external funding, whether from European, state, or regional funds.
With the aim of bringing the benefits of the PUAM and PMUS closer to the daily lives of residents, the City Council intends to actively involve all citizens in the design of the municipality's future. To achieve this, an active listening campaign will be launched in the coming weeks, including both digital and street-level surveys.
The development of this Local Strategy has been made possible by the City Council's successful application for the EELL2025 subsidy. The actions are financed by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda, under competitive bidding grants for initiatives to promote the 2030 Agenda in Local Entities.
