The document, resulting from work carried out in recent months with local associations, includes a mapping of the associative fabric, shared workspaces, a participation form, and the celebration of the Day of Associations on September 26th. The process highlighted the diversity and activity of the entities, as well as the need to improve mutual knowledge, citizen visibility, coordination among associations, and the relationship with the Town Hall.
The plan is structured around five main lines of work until 2028: connecting and coordinating to facilitate shared projects; making associations visible to citizens; facilitating participation with open activities; strengthening the relationship with the Town Hall through improved dialogue and support; and ensuring continuity for relationship spaces and successful initiatives.
Specific actions include the creation of a dynamic directory of associations, a shared activity calendar, periodic inter-associative meetings, the continuation of the Day of Associations, and the reinforcement of coordination and information channels.
This plan is conceived as an open and adaptable tool, which will be reviewed according to the needs of the associative fabric and available resources, with the ultimate goal of moving towards a more connected, visible, and citizen-open associative fabric.
The project «Strengthening the associative fabric and promoting citizen participation strategy in Alfara del Patriarca» is supported by a grant of €6,000.00 from the Provincial Council of Valencia, as part of the 2026 Call for grants to promote citizen participation, transparency, and good governance at the local level.
