Carmeta's mother, in an attempt to teach her to stay still, threatens her with the arrival of the Sack Man. These words, which may seem innocent, could have unexpected consequences if they reached the ears of the character himself, raising the possibility that Carmeta might be taken away.
But the Sack Man also appears in book form, becoming a tool for family reading. This story, created by writer Almudena Francés and illustrated by Marc Bou, is the sixth title in the Espanta la por collection. Almudena Francés's live narration promises to leave an unforgettable mark on attendees, capturing the voices of Carmeta, her mother, and the Sack Man himself.
The activity, organized by Cultura de la Diputació de València (Culture of the Provincial Council of Valencia), will offer free access starting the Tuesday before the event. Tickets will be distributed in person at the information point of the Centre Museístic la Beneficència.
