The Valencia City Council, through its Invest in Valencia office and in collaboration with Cámara Valencia, has successfully attracted 16 new international companies during the first half of 2026. These companies have invested over 35 million euros, consolidating the city as a hub for talent and foreign capital.
The Councilor for Tourism, Innovation, and Investment Attraction, Paula Llobet, highlighted that this figure represents a direct economic injection into the Valencian productive fabric. Llobet emphasized the confidence of multinational firms in Valencia, perceived as a competitive market, a secure and innovative ecosystem, and a location with an excellent quality of life for establishing their operational headquarters, technological development centers, and commercial offices.
With this semi-annual balance, Invest in Valencia surpasses its historical record, accumulating over 400 million euros in investment since its launch. In total, the office has facilitated the arrival of 93 companies from 29 countries, driving the creation of more than 4,000 direct jobs in the city.
The capital attracted in the first six months of the year has been concentrated in high value-added sectors, such as high technology and advanced retail. Among the firms that have materialized their commitment to Valencia are Airvolut, MC Bertolini, and Modpack Group.
Investment attraction is supported by institutional support in two phases: the Softlanding program, which simplifies bureaucratic and real estate procedures, and the Aftercare service, which supports the expansion of 141 already established international companies. "We accompany investors from their initial interest until they open their offices," stated Llobet.
Active promotion in global forums, including presence in markets such as the United States, Germany, China, the Netherlands, Finland, and Saudi Arabia, as well as participation in events like VivaTech in Paris or Web Summit Qatar, have been key to these results. Nationally, Valencia has reinforced its leadership in trade fairs such as FITUR and the Mobile World Congress.
