An operation consisting of nearly 1,500 officers from the National Police and the Civil Guard will ensure mobility and safety in the L'Horta region and Valencia during the solar eclipse on August 12.

The deployment, coordinated with the Generalitat Valenciana and the involved municipalities, aims to facilitate order at the five official observation points located in the province: Valencia, Macastre, Puçol, Utiel, and Aras de los Olmos.
The Civil Guard Traffic Department will take control of roads and access routes to these areas, where high concentrations of vehicles and people are expected. Meanwhile, the National Police will strengthen its presence in urban areas with higher citizen turnout using specialized units.
Authorities have reminded the public of the importance of using certified glasses with an authentic CE mark and following maintenance instructions to prevent eye damage. Additionally, an official website has been set up to provide useful information about the astronomical phenomenon.
