The Valencian Community is currently experiencing its third heatwave of the summer, with orange warnings activated by the State Meteorological Agency due to forecasts of temperatures reaching up to 40 °C.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has reported that the most intense period of this thermal episode will be concentrated between Tuesday and Friday of this week. During Monday, temperatures near 38 °C were already recorded in several parts of the territory, accompanied by high relative humidity that increases the feeling of sweltering heat.
For Tuesday, the orange alert extends to the northern and southern interior of the province of Valencia, where thermometers could reach 40 °C. At the same time, yellow warnings have been established in other areas, including the Valencian coast and the interior and southern coast of Alicante, where temperatures are expected to exceed 36 °C.
In addition to the heat, Aemet has warned about the possibility of storms in the coastal and southern interior areas of Valencia during the afternoon. In these areas, hail and strong wind gusts are possible, which is why a yellow warning has been activated between 16:00 and 22:00.
