The Provincial Council of Valencia has launched a new edition of the Rebaixes en valencià initiative to promote the use of the local language in neighborhood commerce.

This campaign, coordinated with the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to encourage establishments to incorporate Valencian into their commercial communication. The action focuses especially on the clothing and footwear sectors, offering free materials for the sales season.
Among the available resources, shops can access posters in vertical and horizontal formats, as well as labels to indicate previous and discounted prices. As a novelty this year, a digital kit has been incorporated to allow promotions to be shared through social networks, messaging applications, and websites.
The initiative, which was created in the early 2000s, involves the participation of various Valencian promotion agencies from municipalities such as Alaquàs, l'Alcúdia, Algemesí, Benicarló, Dénia, Onda, Paiporta, Petrer, Picassent, Quart de Poblet, Santa Pola, Sueca, and Tavernes de la Valldigna.
