The Cercanías network of Valencia will be strengthened with the arrival of 41 new Civia S465 series trains. These new units will progressively replace the 34 Series 447 trains and 7 Series 464 trains currently operating on the network's three lines.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the Civia S465 vehicles are Renfe's most modern for Commuter services. Each unit consists of five cars, offering a significantly higher capacity than previous models, which typically had three cars.
These new additions will allow for more services and improve the experience for up to 748 passengers per train, marking a notable advancement in the railway mobility of the city and its metropolitan area.
