The renewal of the management of three municipal parking lots operated by Aumsa in the Marítim district has been blocked following the filing of a new administrative appeal.

The procedure to award the operation of the spaces located at Veles e Vents, Tinglados 4 and 5, and the Cabañal market has been interrupted just months after the Central Administrative Tribunal for Contractual Appeals (TACRC) annulled the previous tender.
The company that filed this claim is the same one that was excluded from the procedure due to an offer considered to be recklessly low. The contract, with a budget of 1.87 million euros, covers the management of these facilities for a period of three years, extendable for two more.
The lot includes the Martí Grajales parking lot, whose direct management was recovered by the city council in 2022, as well as the surfaces adjacent to Veles e Vents and the Tinglados. In total, six companies had submitted their proposals to manage these spaces.
Currently, the TACRC must analyze the appeal. The tribunal's resolution will determine whether the tender continues with the current award proposal or if it forces the readmission of the appealing company into the process.
