The Museu de la Ciutat will serve as the initial exhibition space while the renovation of the former Correos building, the collection's originally planned home, is unlocked. The tender for the building's renovation was left deserted, forcing a redefinition of the phased opening strategy.
The contract for the transport of the works, with a budget of 404,236.80 euros, sets September 16 as the date to review economic bids. If the procedure proceeds as planned, the contract signing would take place during the second half of October.
