València Museums Open Until Late for the Gran Nit de Juliol

Several cultural venues will offer special activities and late-night access until midnight to celebrate the event.

The Gran Nit de Juliol invites visitors to enjoy València's museums until midnight with special activities and late access.

The city of València is celebrating the Gran Nit de Juliol with extended hours for many of its museums and cultural spaces, which will remain open until 00:00 h. This initiative allows citizens and visitors to explore these emblematic sites at night and participate in a variety of scheduled activities.
The venues joining this special night opening, with hours from 20:00 to 00:00 h, include the Benlliure House Museum, the Museum of the City, the Palace of Cervelló, the València History Museum, the Archaeological Center of La Almoina, the Lonja de los Mercaderes, the National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts González Martí, and the IVAM.
In addition to general access, special activities have been organized. On July 17th, the València City Hall will offer guided tours at 12:00 and 13:00 h, while the Blasco Ibáñez House Museum will host the tango show «Las orillas del tango. Berretín de Buenos Aires» at 19:30 h.
On July 18th, the IVAM will be open from 19:00 to 00:00 h, with free children's areas and activities such as the family sensory workshop «Minimundos de bolsillo» (12:00 and 18:00 h), commented tours of exhibitions like «La Albufera» (17:00 h), «La Colección del IVAM hasta hoy» (18:00 h), and «Territorios en tránsito/Solo dúo» (19:00 h), as well as «Cristina de Middel. Apocalipsis Now» (21:00 h). There will also be a DJ session with «Hits With Tits» from 21:00 to 23:00 h.
The Benlliure House Museum offers theatricalized tours «Entre pinceles y pasiones» (11:00 and 12:15 h) and a concert by The Shag Sharks at 22:30 h. The Concha Piquer House Museum will have a commented tour at 12:00 h. The Museum of the City will offer theatricalized tours «El otro marqués» (11:00 and 12:15 h), commented tours (17:00 and 18:00 h), and a round table «València Queer con Drag Liz Dust» at 20:00 h.
Other venues such as the Palace of Cervelló will present the theatricalized tour «Una visita inesperada» (17:30 h) and a guitar concert by Toni Cotolí (20:00 h). The València History Museum will feature a musical performance by Clau de Swing (19:30 h), while the Archaeological Center of La Almoina will host Johnny B. Zero (20:00 h).
The Serranos C Shelter and the Ayuntamiento Air-Raid Shelter will offer guided tours (11:00 and 12:00 h, and 12:00 and 13:00 h respectively). The Paleontological Museum, Viveros Gardens, will have a morning children's event «Acorazados» (11:30 and 12:00 h) on July 17th and a commented tour on July 19th (12:00 h).
On July 19th, the Blasco Ibáñez House Museum will hold theatricalized tours «La voluntad de vivir: historia de una pasión» (11:00 and 12:15 h). The Benlliure House Museum will offer commented tours «Una casa, una colección, una historia» (11:00 and 12:15 h). The Palace of Cervelló will have the commented tour «Memoria de un Palacio Real» (11:00 and 12:00 h).
The València History Museum will organize a general and family visit (11:00 and 12:30 h), and the Municipal Exhibition Hall will have a guided tour of the exhibition «Altres» (10:30 h).
