The election of the Fallera Court of Honor of Valencia for 2027 will finally take place at the Roig Arena, with the confirmed date of September 26th. This event has generated anticipation among the pre-selected candidates, who already played a prominent role during the Battle of Flowers. The presence of 73 senior candidates in various floats underscores the importance of this process for the Fallas festival.
The candidates began the day with an official photo session at the Palace of Exhibition, followed by group photos before boarding the floats. On these vehicles, they shared the spotlight with the current and previous year's major falleras, thus representing the union of different generations of the festival.
The municipal government is committed to maintaining the Roig Arena as the main venue for this event, considered one of the major acts of the Fallas year. The goal is to enhance the experience by reducing the parade area and speeding up the verdict ritual, which last year lasted nearly four hours.
Additionally, the 73 senior candidates will participate in a sea voyage organized by Trasmed, accompanied by the jury. The destination is expected to be Menorca on September 19th, completing a Balearic trilogy.
