Through 52 works, including paintings, photographs, sculptures, and installations, Valencian artist Irene Grau and Italian artist Marco Giordano explore our connection with the environment.
Irene Grau focuses on the subsoil and mountains, using raw materials like clay, iron, and natural pigments to highlight the scars left by mining and the tile industry on Valencian geography.
Marco Giordano, on the other hand, addresses the theme of energy with sculptural installations that question the origin of electricity and the impact of energy infrastructure.
The proposal is to understand the landscape, stones, earth, and even electrical grids as living bodies that feel, change, and are capable of leaving a mark.
The exhibition invites visitors to find meaning in things through art and reflection on our footprint on the territory.
