The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Universities has approved an increase of 7,980,715 euros in the allocation for the construction and renovation of 10 educational centers in the Valencian Community. With this expansion, the total investment for the respective town councils amounts to 49,930,386 euros.
In the province of Valencia, the beneficiary centers are CEIP El Braçal in Estivella (with an additional 1,098,682 euros), CEIP El Castell in Almoines (911,975 euros), CEIP Jaume I in Puçol (524,563 euros), IES nº 5 Altos Hornos in Sagunto (132,568 euros), CEIP José Molla in Canals (583,458 euros), IES Sivera Font in Canals (333,389 euros), and CEIP Gregori Mayans i Ciscar in Bellreguard (889,185 euros).
In the province of Castellón, CEIP Lleonard Mingarro in la Vall d'Uixó receives an additional 472,962 euros. Finally, in the province of Alicante, CEIP nº 2 in Catral is increased by 1,277,996 euros and CEIP Párroco Francisco Más in Crevillent, by 1,755,931 euros.
The Director General of Educational Infrastructures, José María Larena, highlighted that this budget increase demonstrates the Generalitat's commitment to Valencian families and the educational community, promoting the Edificant Plan with an execution rate exceeding 75%, a figure that contrasts with the just over 20% achieved during the Botànic years.
Most of the files are currently in the processing phase, with the proposal for modification of the delegation of powers already prepared by the Intervention of the Ministry, awaiting acceptance by the respective town councils in a plenary session.
