The vote received 96% support from those present, with 111 votes in favor, one against, and four abstentions. The event brought together various representatives from left-wing parties, as well as members of neighborhood and trade union organizations from the city.
During her speech, the candidate emphasized the need to promote housing policies that guarantee the right to reside in the city, describing the difficulty of access for citizens as a democratic anomaly. She also defended an urban planning model that prioritizes productive economy over speculative interests.
The political proposal presented focuses on improving social services and healthcare, as well as proposing a transformation of the urban space. Among the proposed measures, she highlighted the need to reduce the presence of private cars in favor of public transport and bicycles, as well as increasing green areas to combat high temperatures.
Finally, she called for collective participation to build a space for citizen engagement that goes beyond party labels, with the goal of strengthening social bonds and offering a political alternative focused on fraternity and the defense of human rights.
