The Villena delegation presented the town's industrial potential, particularly in the agricultural, winery, and food sectors, to the Guilin International Chamber of Commerce and 20 interested local companies. The aim is to establish collaboration bridges and facilitate access to a complex yet promising market.
Fulgencio Cerdán highlighted the importance of this commercial relationship for Villena's companies, as it could increase sales and generate new jobs. He emphasized that China is no longer just a supplier country but an emerging market with a middle and upper-middle class demanding quality and differentiated products.
"China sells a lot, but it buys more and more, and we want it to buy products from Villena's companies," stated the mayor, focusing on the quality and uniqueness of Villena's offerings.
This meeting concludes an intense work agenda in Guilin, which also included participation in a tourism fair. The trip was "very positive," according to Cerdán, opening new prospects for the town and its productive sector, thanks to the support of the cities and collaborators of the trade mission.
