This project, which combines emotional health, nutrition, and physical exercise, will be held at the Municipal Market of Villena from 5 PM to 7 PM. The Councilor for Social Welfare, Alba Laserna, along with the president of Comercios y Servici Vi, Eva Iglesias, and representatives from the Intersectoral Table and the Villena Health Council, announced this call.
Driven by the Intersectoral Table and the Villena Health Council, in collaboration with local social entities, the initiative is consolidated with the aim of promoting the integral well-being of Villena's residents over 55.
The cycle features a participatory methodology adapted to participants' needs, divided into three distinct blocks: the first, focused on nutrition, will offer healthy eating patterns and a practical cooking session; the second, dedicated to physical activity, will include working on physical qualities and a walking route around Villena; and the third block will address mental health and emotional well-being, providing tools for daily life.
Participation in the cycle is free, and places are limited. Interested individuals can pre-register starting today through the Comercios y Servicis Vi App 03400.
“"From the City Council, we want to continue advancing in our commitment to health, opening spaces like this for citizens to take care of ourselves and feel good."
Alba Laserna also announced the possibility of a third edition, responding to the interest and positive reception of the first call. Rafaela García, a participant from the previous edition, shared her experience, highlighting the knowledge gained and describing it as a "very positive" experience, and encouraged other individuals over 55 to participate.
