The Governing Board of Villena, in its session on September 2, 2026, has made several relevant decisions for the municipality. Among them, the approval of the proposal to honor Antonio Ruescas with the creation of an inclusive playground to be located on Paseo Chapí stands out.
Likewise, the green light has been given to the presentation of the second edition of the health cycle titled ‘My Moment is Now’, organized by the Department of Social Welfare. This initiative aims to promote well-being and health among citizens.
The Governing Board also addressed other matters, such as the call for an extraordinary and urgent Plenary session for September 2, 2026. Additionally, the celebration of the Business Meetings was discussed, which are premiering with a session focused on the challenges and opportunities of the agricultural sector, and information was provided on the normal start of the school year.
