Sax police, located in the Alt Vinalopó region, issued a warning this Saturday about the detection of a small caiman on the riverbank. According to their official social media accounts, the established protocol for locating and capturing the animal has been activated.
Authorities emphasized that if the reptile is encountered, it is crucial to remain calm and avoid approaching or frightening it. The main recommendation is to immediately contact the police or emergency services at 112 to report the situation.
To ensure the safety of citizens and their pets, officers have advised against walking in the area with companion animals on Sunday. They highlighted the importance of public cooperation to facilitate a swift and effective intervention by the capture teams.
