The town, located at the highest altitude in the Valencian territory, prepares for an event that this year will feature over 20 stalls. The fair will include music, dances, exhibitions, local product tastings, and guided tours.
The fair will kick off on Friday at 7 PM with the screening of the trailer for the documentary 'Pastores de Penyagolosa' at the Library, a preview that explores the human and feminine side of a traditional occupation in Vistabella del Maestrat. Afterwards, the artistic project 'mural for equality' by Rocio Carrasca will be presented at the Old Slaughterhouse.
On Saturday, the fairgrounds will open at 10 AM and remain open until 6 PM. Throughout the day, there will be a free guided tour of the old town at 10:30 AM, a tasting of IEPA beers at the Old Prison at 11:30 AM, and a musical parade and Bureo with the Rondalla at 12 PM. In the afternoon, at 4 PM, traditional games for children will take place, followed by a wine tasting from Bodega Flors at the Old Prison at 5 PM.
From 11 AM, the Casa de la Llum will host the exhibition '100 years of the Societat Instructiva Musical Vistabellense'. At 6 PM, the Casal Jove will feature a traditional dance performance by 'La Clavariessa', followed by a musical evening organized by Joves Vistabella. Saturday night will conclude with a Halloween Party at the Casal Jove.
On Sunday, November 1st, a mycological excursion will take place in the surrounding forests of Vistabella del Maestrat, guided by experts from ASMICAS.
The Vistabella del Maestrat Town Hall reminds attendees that pre-registration is required for the tastings, the mycological excursion, and the guided tour. Registrations can be made via email at activitats@vistabelladelmaestrat.es, by phone at 964 38 90 07, or in person at the municipal offices.
