The UPV Eco-marathon team, a participant in the Generación Espontánea program of the Universitat Politècnica de València, commemorates its two decades of trajectory with an event dedicated to scientific dissemination, technological innovation, and sustainability. The event will take place on October 29th, at 12:30 PM, at the Alcoy Campus.
The event will include an exhibition titled «20 Years of History: From Gasoline to Hydrogen», located in the hall of the Carbonell building. This exhibition will showcase the team's evolution through prototypes developed between 2006 and 2026, visual documentation, videos, and infographics, highlighting the technological advancements that have marked these two decades.
Concurrently, classroom F2A3 will host the panel discussion and debate session «Hydrogen, Society, and Innovation». In this meeting, with participation from members of the university community, there will be a dialogue on hydrogen applications and the associated social and technological challenges.
Both activities are part of a PC_ACTS initiative by UPV aimed at bringing low-consumption prototypes closer to society and highlighting collective work, innovation, and commitment to a more sustainable future. The project fosters knowledge exchange and connects applied research with current sustainability challenges, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
