One of the most significant grants, amounting to 60,000 euros, is from the Nominative Grant Call for Maintenance and Conservation Work at the Torretes Botanical Garden. This funding has enabled the hiring of two individuals for conservation and maintenance tasks.
Another aid package, totaling 6,575.06 euros, is allocated to the Municipal Orchards. This grant, part of the Call for Municipalities in the province of Alicante for Economic Development, is divided into two lines: 3,000 euros for urban agriculture training workshops and 3,575.06 euros for the installation of perimeter fencing at the municipal orchards on Manuel de Falla street.
Additionally, a grant of 6,474.30 euros has been received for the Conservation and Improvement of Municipal Natural Sites. These funds have been used for site improvements, the creation of informational materials, and will cover the replacement of damaged signs and the printing of the Torretes Botanical Garden guide.
Finally, two grants have been secured for the control of feral cat colonies, totaling 4,292.92 euros, which include control actions and veterinary services. Another grant of 4,158.02 euros is designated for the Conservation and Improvement of homologated trails, specifically for the maintenance of the PR-CV 129 trail.
