The initiative, called Somos Alcoyano, functions as a marketplace that connects residents with local establishments. The system allows users to accumulate balance when making purchases, both online and in participating physical stores, by validating purchase receipts in the application.
According to those responsible for the project, the goal is for the sports club to act as a social and economic engine. The platform is open to all citizens, without the need to be a club member, and allows any business, from small bakeries to service companies, to offer benefits to their customers.
The Alcoy City Council has supported this proposal from the beginning, highlighting the tool's ability to generate positive synergies in the local business fabric. Participating merchants have their own management panel to validate operations and consult generated activity.

The project is currently in the implementation phase after having passed pilot tests. The sports entity expects the platform to be at full capacity before the end of the year, with the progressive incorporation of new establishments into the network.
