The Tutor Agent Unit of the Alcoy Local Police has completed initial investigations into an assault on a minor that occurred in the municipality. After becoming aware of several videos showing the incident on August 10th, officers launched an immediate intervention.
As a result of this swift action, the individuals appearing in the footage have been identified. Subsequently, the appropriate preliminary proceedings have been drafted for transfer to the UFAM (Family and Women's Support Unit) of the National Police. This step is a prerequisite to informing the Public Prosecutor's Office for Minors.
The Councilor for Security, Raül Llopis, praised the police force's diligence. According to the councilor, "This is a very serious incident, but from the outset, we have worked to do everything possible from the local police, successfully identifying and transferring all information to the National Police's UFAM to protect the victim and ensure the well-being of our young people."
