Registration will be open until October 23rd, with limited places. Applications should be sent to gabinet-valencia@alcoi.org. The challenge involves exclusively using Valencian for 21 days with a chosen person, group, or in a chosen situation, adapting the challenge to personal circumstances to overcome the habit of abandoning the language when not strictly necessary.
The initiative, continuing a similar proposal from last year, is open to individuals aged 16 and over, as well as families, entities, businesses, groups, and other collectives. Students in their first and second year of high school can also participate, with parental authorization for those under 18. The project is designed for both native Valencian speakers and those learning the language.
The Linguistic Normalization Office will provide training in linguistic assertiveness, monitoring, and personalized advice throughout the process, aiming to offer practical tools for various communication situations and help participants maintain their linguistic choice naturally. The project also highlights the recognition, self-esteem, and self-worth of participants as associated benefits.

The program begins on Thursday, November 5th, at 5:00 PM with the first training workshop on linguistic assertiveness, followed by the official presentation at 7:00 PM, both activities held at the IVAM CADA building. The mentored challenge will run from November 6th to 26th, with continuous support from the Office. A second training workshop will take place on Thursday, November 19th, at 5:00 PM, also at IVAM CADA.
Finally, on Thursday, December 3rd, the third training workshop will be held at 5:00 PM, followed by the closing ceremony and official recognition of the VIP del Valencià participants at 7:00 PM. Those who complete the challenge will receive honorary recognition.
