The Alcoy City Council has decided to expand the giant screen at the Amando Blanquer auditorium for the broadcast of the World Cup football final between Spain and Argentina.

Due to the success in attendance recorded at previous matches, the council has opted to increase the screen's dimensions, which will go from 3.5 by 2 meters to a 5 by 3 meter format. The event will maintain its 7:30 PM start time and will feature pre-match entertainment by Aitor Márquez.
To enhance the event's atmosphere, a DJ booth and a new lighting system will be added. The Councilor for Sports, Alberto Belda, has positively valued this measure as an opportunity to experience the final in the city.

"We encourage everyone to respond as they did on previous occasions, coming to enjoy this event by joining forces to support the national team in a family and community atmosphere, and cheering to achieve that second star which is so close."
