The main objective of this project is to improve and enhance the structure of the Llotja de Sant Jordi. As a consequence of the commencement of the works, the usual activity of the space will be temporarily interrupted.
To ensure the continuity of the artistic program, the exhibition cycles dedicated to Antoni Miró will be provisionally relocated to the facilities of IVAM CADA Alcoi. This new location will be temporary, and its duration will depend on the pace of the rehabilitation tasks and when the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) can resume its normal activity at its Alcoi venue.
The IVAM's return to its regular operations will occur once the building's air conditioning system is fully repaired. The project for the new air conditioning unit, a specific custom-designed infrastructure, is already in the public tender process. It is estimated that the manufacturing of the new unit will require approximately three months once the contract is awarded.

The Councilor for Culture, Elisa Guillem, highlighted the importance of this intervention for the revitalization of a key space for the city. She added that the IVAM's return will be coordinated, with the tender for the new air conditioning already underway, and that efforts are being made to ensure optimal conditions for both cultural infrastructures.
