The city of Xàtiva is in full celebration of its August Fair, with a varied program that includes everything from concerts to traditional events like the mascletà and the Paella Festival.

The Xàtiva August Fair faces today, August 19th, one of its most anticipated days, with a cultural and leisure offering that keeps the capital of La Costera fully active. The program combines musical performances, singer-songwriter sets, and popular events.
The morning was marked by sports and culture, featuring the XV Table Tennis Tournament at the Jaume I promenade. The Fairgrounds hosted initiatives for regional tourism promotion, the literary gathering «Els Imparables», and activities by content creator Cabrafotuda. The band Tercio de Birres provided musical entertainment in the streets before the traditional Mascletà, fired at midday in the Jardí de la Pau.
The afternoon is dedicated to younger audiences with the theatrical performance of «La Bella Tour» at the Martínez Bellver School courtyard. Following this, the Municipal Volleyball Pavilion will host the Paella Festival, an emblematic gastronomic event for the city's youth and social groups.
The evening will feature a diverse range of musical acts. At the Plaça de la Seu, the XXIX Festival de la Cançó will include Xàtiva singer-songwriter Feliu Ventura presenting his new album «Tot el que hem guanyat perdent». At the La Murta Municipal Football Field, the Camilo Big Band show will pay tribute to Camilo Sesto with Dani Diges.
Other musical offerings include a tribute to El Canto del Loco by the group Sin Complejos at the Jardí José Espejo / La Glorieta, and a performance by Los Bonitos Redford at the Jardí del Palasiet.
Concurrently, the Casa de la Cultura maintains open exhibitions, including those by National Painting Prize winner Juan Francés, the LXXI Local Photography Salon, and a showcase of local artists.
