The San Vicente del Raspeig City Council will dedicate 500 square meters of the ground floor of the municipal building to a new multipurpose space, primarily for municipal activities aimed at seniors.

The project, overseen by the Architecture department, has an estimated budget of 832,000 euros and a construction period of six months. The aim is to remodel the last available space in the municipal building to create a versatile area with rooms of different capacities (between 62 and 71 square meters) intended for the Department for the Elderly, exhibitions, training rooms, or information campaigns.
The Councilor for the Elderly, Yolanda Iborra, highlighted the need for modern and accessible facilities to improve municipal services for seniors. The venue will feature natural light through a glass facade with access from the Plaza de la Comunidad Valenciana.
The activities area will be located outdoors and will have rooms separated by movable acoustic panels, allowing spaces to be adapted according to their use. At the rear, there will be a service area with public restrooms and support facilities for events and storage. The mayor, Pachi Pascual, detailed that the layout will allow the rooms to function as a single large hall or be divided into up to four spaces.
A mezzanine will also be created above the service area, intended for storage and general installations, adding nearly 100 additional square meters to the 409 on the ground floor.
