The emblematic Poeta Quintana street in Alicante was filled with sports activities such as body combat, zumba, hydrox circuit, crossFit, functional training, workshops, and family recreational activities. A 'Zen & Mind' zone was also set up with barre, postural wellness, and stretching classes, which were very successful.
The Councilor for Commerce, Lidia López, attended to support the initiative and participate in some of the activities. López highlighted the good atmosphere and thanked the public's participation, emphasizing Quintana's local commerce as an example of dynamism and traditional essence with new businesses.
As a novelty, the day included an exhibition of Pilota Valenciana, with the participation of local sports clubs and introductory workshops. The event, named 'Quintana Deportiva', is subsidized by the Commerce Department of the Alicante City Council.
The main objective of the day is to promote sport and shopping to foster health, enhance culture, and offer leisure, contributing to the reactivation of local commerce. The Councilor for Strategic Plans, Luis Morata, also attended.
