The Generalitat has formalized an agreement with Fundación Telefónica to install a 42 programming campus in the former Post Office building, located in Gabriel Miró square in Alicante.

This new center, expected to be operational throughout 2027, will focus on training in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software development. The project requires prior adaptation work on the property, the cost of which will be covered by the regional administration.
The campus will offer free training for approximately 450 students, organized into 150 teams. To gain admission, applicants must be over 18 and pass a selection process known as a 'pool', which consists of a 26-day test without the need for prior computer knowledge.
The choice of this location responds to the need to place the center within the urban area, meeting the requirements of the promoting association. The administrative offices currently occupying the building will be relocated to the Distrito Digital 5 facilities at the port of Alicante.
