The Generalitat Valenciana, through the SPTD, has tendered for 260,063.93 euros for the supply, rental, assembly, and maintenance of tents and auxiliary elements for the Ocean Live Park of the upcoming The Ocean Race Alicante 2027.

The Society for Digital Transformation Projects (SPTD) has opened the bidding period for a contract aimed at reinforcing the event's logistical infrastructure. The goal is to equip the venue with significant international relevance and technical functionality, ensuring the constant safety and operability of all installations during the ten days it will be open to the public.
The project includes the installation of seven functional modules, such as a 600 m² Digital Leisure Pavilion dedicated to new technologies, a 375 m² Media Centre for journalists, a catering and volunteers area for 250 people, and spaces for sponsor activations. All tents must meet strict quality standards, including air conditioning, lighting, accessibility, and fire safety measures.
The tender is being processed through an open procedure with harmonized regulation, with a total budget of 260,063.93 euros (VAT included). Proposals must be submitted electronically by September 10, 2026. The critical deadline for the installation of all structures is January 5, 2027, with the park opening to the public from January 8 to 17, 2027.
The contract includes preventive maintenance during the competition and final dismantling. The evaluation of bids will allocate 70% to automatic criteria (price and technical assistance) and 30% to subjective criteria, such as quality, modern design, and commitment to sustainability, favoring the use of reusable materials and efficient waste management.
Through this initiative, the Generalitat aims to consolidate Alicante as a world-leading departure port for The Ocean Race, featuring an Ocean Live Park spanning over 55,000 m² that will combine elite sports with leisure activities for all audiences.
