A fire that broke out this Tuesday in a single-family home in El Campello has forced the evacuation of several families from neighboring houses for safety reasons.

The fire started shortly after 10:00 a.m. on the second floor of a house located at number 8 Muro Street. The flames intensified rapidly, generating a visible column of smoke that spread to neighboring properties.
Emergency services decided to evacuate families in the area to keep them away from the smoke and facilitate firefighting efforts. Crews from the San Vicente del Raspeig fire station were deployed to the scene, working to control the main source of the fire and protect adjacent structures.
Municipal firefighters from Alicante, medical personnel, and the Civil Guard also participated in the operation, cordoning off the area and managing traffic. Medical teams remained on-site to provide assistance for smoke inhalation or anxiety.
Subsequent work focused on ventilating the home and inspecting the structure to rule out hot spots, aiming to prevent the fire from reigniting and allowing residents to return to their homes soon.
