Alicante TRAM records nearly 9.5 million trips in the first half of 2026

The Alicante network sees a 3% decrease in usage while Metrovalencia shows significant growth.

The Alicante TRAM network recorded 9,472,396 trips during the first six months of 2026, a figure representing a 3.03% decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.

The month of June was the period with the highest activity on the network, recording 1,911,818 trips. The day with the highest traffic occurred on Tuesday, June 23, during the Hogueras festivities and the eve of Saint John, when the service served 93,507 passengers.
Regarding the lines, Line 2, which connects Luceros with Sant Vicent del Raspeig, remains the most used with 3,596,806 trips. It is followed by Line 1 (2,011,441), Line 3 (1,401,326), Line 4 (1,057,147), Line 9 (875,272), and Line 5 (530,404).
As for the stations, Luceros leads the network's movement with 1,515,530 users, followed by Mercado (977,103), Sant Vicent del Raspeig (578,651), Benidorm (537,378), and MARQ-Castillo (464,600).
Across the Comunitat Valenciana, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana facilitated the mobility of 61,344,567 people, combining data from the Alicante TRAM and Metrovalencia. This overall figure represents a 10.82% increase compared to the first half of 2025.
