The MARQ, Alicante's archaeological museum, will resume its usual winter hours, opening uninterruptedly from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. On Sundays and holidays, the hours will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The season will be highlighted by the international exhibition Gold and the Universe. Indigenous Knowledge of Colombia, showcasing nearly 300 pieces, many made of gold and exhibited for the first time in Spain, alongside the content of the center's permanent galleries.
Meanwhile, the El Tossal de Manises - Lucentum site in Alicante, and La Illeta dels Banyets in El Campello, will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. On Sundays and holidays, the hours will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The Almohade Tower of Almudaina will be open for visits from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. On Saturdays, the hours will extend into the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
As usual, all four cultural sites will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance tasks and staff rest.
Other points of interest are also adjusting their schedules. The Neolithic site of Cova de l’Or and its Interpretation Center, in Beniarrés, can now be visited via guided tours on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM. The activity includes a minibus transfer from the Interpretation Center to the path leading to the site.
In Castell de Castells, the Rock Art Interpretation Center can be visited from Monday to Thursday by appointment (965 518 067). On Fridays and Saturdays, it will be open from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Finally, access to the Cava Gran d'Agres will continue to be free, subject to the regulations of the Serra Mariola Natural Park.
