The day began with a parade by the Agrupación Musical Nova del Campello along the Carrer la Mar promenade to Penyeta. Representatives of the municipal corporation and various local groups were present at the event.
Later, the procession moved to the tent located at the fishing port. There, more than 300 people accompanied the image of the patron saint, which was in a space decorated for the occasion. The religious ceremony featured the participation of the Coral Casino de Campello, which performed the Salve Marinera.
After the service, the image was taken on board a boat to travel along the coast. This act, which serves to commemorate the sailors' festival, is one of the most prominent highlights of the municipality's festive calendar.
